Paul Dimitruk is the Chief Executive Officer of PortBlue Corporation, based in Los Angeles. PortBlue develops and hosts expert systems for business and government applications, primarily in the healthcare, and national and homeland security sectors.
Paul is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Partners Capital Group Limited, based in London and Boston. Partners Capital provides investment advisory services to the partners of leading investment firms, to university endowments and foundations and to prominent families.
Prior to founding PortBlue, Paul was Chairman and Co-Founder of Pareto Partners from 1991 through 2001 and was its Chief Executive from 1993 through 1999. Pareto is an institutional investment management firm based in London and is the largest currency risk management firm in the world, with over $40 Billion in managed exposures. Pareto's investment strategies were based on proprietary, quantitative software models and artificial intelligence technology in the form of Knowledge Based Systems, which it co-developed with Hughes Electronics.
Prior to becoming CEO of Pareto, Paul was Group Managing Director of General Atlantic Group Limited, a private company with major interests in a diverse range of businesses in North America, the Far East, and Europe. Prior to General Atlantic, he was an Executive Director and member of the Management Committee of INVESTCORP, the international investment bank. At INVESTCORP Paul was involved in private equity investing and was the firm's principal representative on the Boards of the companies in which it invested. Before joining INVESTCORP, Paul was the Partner-in-Charge of the London and Paris offices of Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, a leading global law firm headquartered in Los Angeles.
Paul is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, a member of the Private Sector Advisory Group to the Department of Homeland Security and an associate member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers. He has been a member of the World Economic Forum and the Young Presidents Organization (London Chapter).
Mr. Dimitruk holds a B.A. with High Honors from Denison University, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees, and a Juris Doctor degree from New York University. He is a member of the Bar (Inactive) of California and Ohio. Paul has four sons. Two are officers in the United States Marine Corps on active duty.
As SVP for Technology, Mark is responsible for the PortBlue decision-support and knowledge capture technologies, as well as for directing software design & construction, quality assurance, and technical operations.
Previously, Mark was at PayMyBills.com where he led technology management for the on-line bill payment product as well as managing acquisition integration. From 1988 to 1999, Mark worked as a technical R & D manager and research engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he specialized in distributed software systems, robotics and control systems. He was active in the research community, authoring over 30 technical publications and NASA Tech Briefs, and was awarded patent recognition for his work. Among several awards for technical innovation, he received the Space Station Freedom Award of Merit.
Mark holds a PhD in engineering from the California Institute of Technology, an MS from Stanford University and a BS from Lehigh University.
As SVP for Knowledge Products, Christian is responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, and development of knowledge products offered by PortBlue.
Christian's previous experience includes strategy consulting for Bain & Company (London office), pricing and product design specification for Broadband Access Systems and marketing consulting for the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development in Costa Rica. Christian holds an MBA and JD from a combined program at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School as well as an AB in Social Studies (magna cum laude) from Harvard University.
As Principal Architect and Technical Manager, Craig leads the team which designs and implements PortBlue application software.
Craig has been involved in software development for 25 years, working on a wide variety of projects ranging from torpedo-decoy navigation modules to video-on-demand delivery systems, among many others. His most recent position prior to joining PortBlue was as VP of Product Development at Vizional Technologies, a provider of supply-chain management applications. He holds a B.S. in Applied Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College.
As Sales Manager-Healthcare Solutions for PortBlue, Beverly is responsible for the growth, development and success of healthcare and hospital related sales.
Beverly brings more than 20 years of healthcare business experience and a proven track record in sales and sales management to PortBlue. Beverly has held numerous sales, sales management and general management roles within the healthcare segment, including positions with Cerner, Misys, Baxter and Bergen Brunswig.
Beverly received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Ohio University.
